We support parents with any concerns about their children’s learning and development, so that any additional needs are identified and supported early.
We can refer to external services such as Speech and Language Therapy, or Children’s Development Centre which specialises in supporting children with additional needs; with the consent of parents.
The introduction of the new progress check for every two-year-old by Health Visitors and summaries of learning and development in pre-school settings will provide parents with clearer information on how their child is learning and developing (Department for Education, 2011).
Although any problems in a child’s development or special educational needs can be identified, and appropriate support sought accordingly to encourage children to reach their full potential; parents can seek advice or raise their concerns at any time.
If you are worried or have any concerns about your child’s learning and development please get in touch with us on 01922 642382 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
