Research & Best Practice

We have been recognised and commended for our approach for engaging with dads...

Feedback from our male service users is used to continually develop and enhance provisions.  We also continue to work in partnership with other agencies (e.g. the Walsall Safeguarding Children Board)

Dads Club Evaluation

The Dads Clubs have proved very popular and have been running successfully for a number of years.  This is because feedback from our dads / male carers is continually used to inform what services are delivered.

Working With Fathers In A Child Protection Context

Our Father’s Worker, Tusief Ashraf, is working collaboratively with the Walsall Safeguarding Children Board to develop and deliver this training. The aims of the course is to:

  • To improve the quality and focus of child protection with regards to fathers of children in need.
  • To improve professional understanding of the importance of partnership of all parents and carers  by valuing the significance and contributions of Fathers.

For further enquires about this training call the Dads Helpline on 01922 471864.
